So we are planning a trip to Las Vegas in October. I need to start planning. I know Vegas isn't as cheap as it used to be so I wanted to put out there the hotels we are looking at and their costs. Suggestions are welcome, I want to make it special but not have to tap into my kids college fund. The prices are for a weekend in mid October.

Also feel free to share what you were last year. I have no shame in being seen as unoriginal. If you think mid-September is too early for this well you are wrong. I can start talking about Halloween because the stores have all their Halloween stuff out already, so there.

I love to ski and my daughter is finally old enough where I can get her in ski schools. This will be her second year skiing. Last year we only went up a handful of times. The instructors told me that 3 year olds don't really have the muscle strength to ski. We shall see how she does now that she is 4. She loves it, loves it. She has been asking to ski all summer. I can't wait to take her again.

Staging, Showing, and Selling my house is stressful and driving me nuts.

I love walking around Breckenridge with my family at night with all the lights and pretty scenery. There is nothing like skiing all day to come home to the smell of turkey in the oven - yum! I...

Schlep across a few time zones to spend the holiday with family. But some of us aren't so lucky as to have the sort of jet set family that's always on a direct route, which brings us to: LAYOVERS! Sometimes fun and interesting, usually just annoying, what are your layover stories?
