During college I came up with the Disney Happily Ever After Syndrom. I don’t like the Disney stories because many women get married thinking everything will be like the Disney stories. shawna- I believe the word you wanted was “idolization”, which is one of the ten commandments, not that I want to turn this religious. However, I believe that many of the Disney “lessons” and feminist points are in direct contrast with the biblical directives that Jesus directed us to do with LOVE. Good luck raising your daughter during these sinful times, I’m doing my best w/ my 2 boys. God Bless!

I’m pretty sure most kids watching it know Ariel is wrong to trade her voice for legs. The movie makes it very clear that Ursula is an awful sea witch. Also the original story is much much worse.
