I haven’t found a better store in Denver for trail running. I’d like to promote a locally owned running shop, but REI is pretty hard to beat. A lot of people like Runner’s Roost, but I’ve had mixed experiences.

The walk along the platte to this Starbucks is so nice. If I need to unwind and hear some running water I take an extra long walk to get a coffee here. You can’t beat the atmosphere at this shop inside or out.
If you’re the sporty type this is your heaven and you should go inside. If your like the rest of us the confluence of the Platte and Cherry creek may be more entertaining.
