World Class Whitetails in Ohio

Our private herd of World Class Whitetails thrive on our property and will offer you the hunt of a lifetime. The majority of our bucks reach maximum antler growth and body size around 5 years old and will score well over 200". Photographers come from around the country to our properties because of our quality of deer and beautiful terrain. You can find many of our bucks in national publications as well as hunting programs including Wild Game Innovations, Outdoor Adventures with Keith Warren and the Outdoor Channel Outfitters.

Since this is a private herd owned by Valley View Whitetails, we are able to set our season as desired to give you the best deer hunt possible. This means as long as they are rubbed out and still holding on to their horns, we can hunt them. Here at Valley View, we pay a seasonal fee to the State of Ohio and Florida that covers non-residents from needing a hunting license when hunting with us.

Here is a little more information about the town that surrounds our preserve. The historic town of West Liberty, Ohio is located within an hours’ drive of Columbus, Lima, and Dayton. The village is positioned midway between Bellefontaine and Urbana, on U.S. 68, in the heart of the “Simon Kenton Corridor”.

The hills and valleys surrounding West Liberty echo with the spirit of Ohio history. This peaceful village on the Mad River in Mac-o-Chee Valley, (meaning “Smiling Valley” in the language of the Shawnee), was once the stomping ground of such colorful historical figures as the frontiersmen, General Simon Kenton, Daniel Boone, Isaac Zane, Col. Alexander McKee, and the renegade Simon Girty. Feared Indian chiefs such as Blue Jacket, Moluntha, Tarhe, Tecumseh, Blackhoof and Chief Cornstalk’s sister, the Grenadier Squaw, made this area their home.

West Liberty presents a wealth of year-round pleasures for visitors; antique shopping, art and gift boutiques, a farmer’s market, and even homemade candy. Ancient caverns and castles, downhill skiing, horseback riding, camping, canoeing and fishing in one of Ohio’s few freshwater trout streams, is located just minutes away.
