There was a time when we could always look forward to it: a TV series' obligatory Christmas episode. Those were simpler days back then (pre-"War On Christmas" era) when we could always expect the same basic formula: one character embodies the Christmas spirit while the rest of the family is overwhelmed by the demands of the holidays. Just when things look bleak (somebody gets fired, put in jail, stampeded at a Wal-Mart), the holiday spirit prevails and it's a happy ending for everyone one. Join me (won't you?) with a laptop by the warm fireside and YouTube our favorite Christmas miracles of the early to mid '90s...
