Skwish's Guide to Clark County Newcomers
There is this really cool club in Vancouver, Washington called Clark County Newcomers... no, you don't have to be new - just nice! It's kind of like instant coffee only it's "instant friends." There are people there from all over the world as well as some who have called Vancouver their home forever. We have all kinds of groups - hiking, golf, jewelry making, crafts, games, walking, traveling, and if it's not there, you can start one. However, if you don't like to eat, you might as well forget it cuz we get together to eat every chance we get. These folks will love you and some of them will become your best friends in all the world. Check it out!
You can go here to get information about the next “Coffee” or “Lunch” or how to get involved. Check it out!

Newcomer Tour to the Zoo
We’ve been lots of fun places together – and you’ll notice one thing… we always make it a point to get to eat.
Peter's Walking Tours
This is one of our tours of downtown Portland. Here we all are at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
We’ve done dozens of tours and some of them even have pictures… some of us are fatter, some are skinnier and some look just the same… but the one thing you will notice, we’re all still friends.
Here we all are – just returned from a big trip to Lake Oswego.
In August 08, about 25 of us ventured to Portland and boarded the Williamette Trolley for a trip to Lake Oswego. We had about two hours to shop and eat before catching the Trolley back to Portland and our cars – and we even beat the bridge traffic I might add.
If you are interested in knowing more about the trolley: Here’s the website: http://www.trainweb.org/oerhs/wst.htm
Birthday Party Time!
Vicki, Cindy, Raelene & Sam have had a birthday party every year for 17 yrs – June – ish… In 2008 we met at the Island Cafe.
