The corner of Roy and Queen Anne Avenue you’ll find Caffe Ladro—the place to drop into a comfy Adirondack chair with a piping hot Americano and a Vegan Bar. This is a great location for people watching and car gawking (lots of expensive foreign cars make the rounds).

Ever needed an office away from home? Zingaro is the place to get some work done when you feel like being a part of the city, but not actively participating. There’s always a seat and there are extension cords running throughout so you can plug in your laptop.

Experience a classic bite of Seattle. Immortalized in Sir-Mix-A-Lot songs, Dick’s is a staple of many a Seattle resident. A sure combination is a Dick’s Deluxe, fry, and hand-dipped milkshake. It’s cheap, tasty, and all kinds of people can be found inside from trendy-wealthy to aimless wanderers.

This year’s production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” was gripping. The intimacy of the seating arrangement gives the illusion of participating in the play. Discuss the highs and lows afterwards at Moxee just a block west of the theater.

Tini’s is a top tier martini establishment. Patrons used to be able to buy high quality cigars and smoke them inside, but the smoking ban put a stop to that. However, you can still grab a seat outside in the summer and smoke. They only serve two or three beers so come ready to enjoy a large martini after work or after trekking around Lower Queen Anne. The appetizers are delicious and the service is superb. Snag a seat in front of one of two huge picture windows to watch Seattle in motion as Tini’s is on the corner of one of Seattle’s busiest intersections.

Take in a movie at this boutique theater any night of the week. It’s known for showing films not shown in other major theaters. Bonus: Sneak in some Dick’s burgers (across the street) and double your entertainment value.
