In 1839, Mirabeau B. Lamar renamed the city in honor of Stephen F. Austin. Its original name is honored by local businesses such as Waterloo Ice House and Waterloo Records. After a short classroom session where you will learn vehicle dynamics, racing lines, and safety instruction you will head out to the track to find your 500 horse power Spring Cup style stock car waiting.

A crew member buckles you in, checks your radio, and gives the “thumbs up” sign to your instructor. You will start your engine, hear that V8 roar, and pull onto the track! Then the green flag flies and it is “pedal to the metal.”

What's a swamp buggy?

Description:
This trip may be done day or night depending on the wildlife to be viewed. There are no guarantees of animals viewed, but you may see Deer, Hog, Panther, Birds of all types, Otters, and lots of Alligators.

Our route is an established route from old lumberjack trails. We do not create new trails, but use the existing ones that have been used for decades – this way we preserve our environment while having responsible access.
