Amazing Albino People and Animals!
As most people are aware of, albinism is a condition characterized by a partial or total lack of melanin pigment in the eyes, skin and hair, and can be found in mammals (including humans), fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Come with me as I take a look at some amazing examples of albinistic people and animals, and be sure to use the "+ Add to this Guide" feature up above if there's a person or animal that's been overlooked!
Fashion Model Connie Chiu
This is definitely one of the weirdest hard-ons I’ve ever had.
Snowflake the Gorilla
This unique albino gorilla named Floquet de Neu in Catalan and Copito de Nieve in Spanish (both meaning “Snowflake”), was the most famous resident of the Barcelona Zoo. Not only a rare specimen, he knew how to get down with the she-apes too, fathering 22 children before being put to sleep at the age of 40 in 2003 (average gorilla lifespan is 25 years, so he had a great run).
Albino Cobra
If a cobra is nature’s way of quietly telling you to step the fuck back, an albino cobra would have to be the equivalent of yelling it at you.
Village of the Damned Kids
Born of a mysterious light, they will use their sinister mind control powers to get whatever they want from you… Spongebob movie marathon and ice cream for breakfast…
Powder
If you’ve seen this 1995 film, then I’m sure you realize why the main character’s storyline took the harsh twists and turns that it did. You also likely realize why I would have totally been a superhero were I in his position.
Silas
This ultra devout member of Opus Dei from The DaVinci Code had some serious issues, his faith questionably being one of them. Despite the villainous role he plays, you can’t help but feel for the guy when he gets his in the end (more so in the book than the film adaptation).
The Albino Code
A parody on the Silas character from The DaVinci Code, this short film highlights and plays satire to some of the movies shortcomings, most notably the fact that the due to their impaired vision, those with albinism would not function well as assassins.

Non-profit organization founded to “celebrate the spirit of difference”. Focuses on genetic conditions, especially albinism.
Dr. Peter White
The scientist and close friend of Dr. Venture on Adult Swim’s The Venture Bros. is a mathematical and computer genius, able to instantly translate even the most complex computer code. The fact that he’s an ex-cokehead and new wave enthusiast is really just icing on the good guy cake.
Albino Tawny Frogmouth
This little guy is begging to be an Internet sensation.
Mocha (Moby) Dick
Mocha Dick was a notorious male sperm whale that lived in the Pacific Ocean in the early 19th century, usually encountered in the waters near the island of Mocha, off southern Chile. Unlike most sperm whales, Mocha Dick was white, and was the inspiration for Herman Melville’s 1851 novel Moby-Dick.
Johnny & Edgar Winter
These American blues-rock musician brothers (born three years apart) were born into a musical family, and the talents cultivated therein have certainly paid off. Both are successful; Johnny has produced Grammy Award-winning albums for Muddy Waters and was named one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” by Rolling Stone magazine. His brother Edgar had that one hit song “Free Ride,” and, well, is a Scientologist, which counts for something I suppose.
The Matrix Twins
They’re ghostly white, wear their hair in dreads, and won’t hesitate to cut you with a straight razor. And who says albinos are unjustly portrayed as evil in cinema?
Pinky the Dolphin
Although pink in appearance, Pinky the dolphin does indeed suffer from a form of albinism. Personally I think he’s just being a show off.
Snowdrop the African Penguin
Snowdrop was a crowd favorite at Bristol Zoo Gardens in England, where he was hatched on site in 2002.
Migaloo the Humpback Whale
This albino humpback whale, whose name is Australian Aboriginal for “white lad,” travels the east coast of Australia and has become famous in the local media, so much so that activists have begun to worry about the potential negative effects of all the attention.
Albino Lobster
Goes great with some butter and a nice white wine!
Griffin (The Invisible Man)
Depending on which iteration of his story you’re paying attention to, the character of Griffin is a total psychopath, thief-turned-hero, or somewhere in between. Regardless of his complicated moral situation, the creation of his invisibility formula was in fact a failed attempt at curing his albinism.

Albino from Foul Play
This very scary albino was in Foul Play with Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn in 1978. I’ll never forget this guy.
