The very first show taping that I went to was when I was about nine and it was for America's Funniest Home Videos with Bob Saget. The only part that I remember was him saying, "Wow, it's so cold in here I can see everyone's nipples in the top row!" I was totally traumatized and completely unaware of nipples before that day. Luckily, America's Funniest Home Videos shoots in Hollywood and if were Jon Stewart saying something about nipples, I would have felt much less violated.
Whenever Bob Saget comes up nowadays I think of two words:
The Aristocrats.

I have a feeling that I have a crush on Mr. Stewart?? Yes. Feelings confirmed. This type of show won’t be for everyone, everyone meaning; Republicans. But, it’s entertaining nonetheless…..who knows maybe you could get all rowdy and start arguing politics with him from the audience??? The get kicked out and hang with the hot dog vendors on the corner of 54th.

Going out to see The Late Show with David Letterman, is participating in a part of history, everyone knows/loves Dave. AND if you’re just in town visiting you’ll be able to see a show/see some stand up AND see some live music! It’s a trifecta of greatness.
LIVE! With Regis and Kelly
I have a confession......
I LOVE. LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY.
I have watched them religiously for the past three years, they make my day better. Start it off with a nice chuckle, some celeb info and current events and I’m ready to take on the world. Regis and Kelly have made me a better person. I kid you not, I want Kelly Ripa to be my sister. GO SEE THE GREATNESS IN PERSON: oK. The sad news, there is a 12 month wait for tix…..eek! HOWEVER, there is always a good chance you can get same days tickets. Phew, no need to panic. Tickets are available by getting to the corner of 67th Street and Columbus Avenue as early as 7am to request a standby number. After ticketholders are seated, standbys are seated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ok, so- I am going to tell you a secret…..shh….instead of giving the fifth seat to Sherry Shepard, they should have given it to me. I even wrote the producer of the show and told him so. I wish that was a lie, but I really did write him a letter.
Someday Bill Getty…..you will hire me.
Until then, I will be a devoted “viewer” and so can you all:
Fill out the request form from the link below or standby….
Standby Policy Anyone looking for tickets on show day must pick up a number from a View Audience Associate between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM at our audience entrance, located at 320 W. 66th Street

WOW. Sounds like a lot of work to me, however totally worth it if you get to see skits like these- MY PERSONAL FAVORITE SNL SKITS:
Will Ferrel: “More Cowbell” Justin Timberlake: “D*ck in a box” Dana Carvey: “Choppin’ Broccoli” Molly Shannon: “Sally O’mally” Chris Farely: “Van Down By The River” Tracy Morgan: “Brian Fellow”
Actually…I go on forever and forever. If you go see the show maybe you could be there for a “favorite in the making!”
Total Request Live!!!
Back in the day….I totally loved Mr. Carson Daily. Black nail polish and all.
So maybe things have changed a bit since then for Carson and TRL, now the hosts are all pretty chicks and Carson wannabe’s. That being said, I’d still love to catch a taping and maybe catch a star while I’m there? P.Diddy, Cameron Diaz? Whoever.
