After a night of partying, a coupla teens recently decided to break into our empty house. Partied some more, barfed in the powder room and fled the scene…cleaning up only as drunk girls can (not so much). 

College Graduation

Is this the end of the good times? Can you feel your freedom slipping through your fingers?  Sport a pair of converses under that cap and gown…clothing is optional.

Getting Married or First Baby...not sure the order anymore

Some life events get mixed up.  That’s ok.  Either way, you’re going to need two pair of shoes.  These events may happen out of order, but are in no way compatible to the same pair of shoes.

Teenage daughter brings home the love of her life

We can guide them, ground them, brainwash them …but in the end they will be their own person (Note to self: that was the whole point in the first place). 

First Performance Review

Torn between being true to yourself and at the same time having your eye on the extra $$$. (Can buy more shoes).  Something middle of the road, not too flashy, yet not your Grandma’s oxfords.

Road Trip of a Different Kind

New shoes on budget day is an unusual tradition among Canadian Ministers of Finance. The tradition holds that the Minister of Finance should purchase or wear new shoes when the budget is delivered.

Not such a bad idea.  Only in Canada you say?   Not so.
