The Busy Girl's Guide to Happy Hour in Philly

Can't wait to cut out early from work on a Thursday just to get to happy hour for those drink specials? Well I have a place for you. Mondays through Thursdays until 7pm, you can enjoy drink specials at Las Margaritas located in Northeast Philadelphia. I absolutely love this place. The margaritas are served by a bald bartender who looks like he spit shines his head every morning. The tortilla chips are served warm with a delicious salsa. The food is good and cheap (very similar to my last couple of dates) and the portions are huge. If by some chance your meeting at work runs over and you cannot make it there by 7, no worries. The margaritas and the authentic Mexican food will not break your budget. If you want to sit in the dining area, ask for Vicki (I called her Becky for weeks due to her manager's strong Spanish accent). She is a quick and attentive waitress who will not only serve you a fried ice cream dessert with extra whip cream, she'll also serve up some great conversation.
