One of the coolest specialty stores around with stinky cheese galore. Truffles of course, too. A great stop for pickign up everything you need for a cheese tasting or tapas night.

The name is great, right? I mean come on. I just giggle when I say it. Located right outside Larimer Square, Chez Cheese allows Downtown Denver’s foodies a perfectly wonderful cheese selection for when you’re feeling cheesy.

Whole Foods’ selection of cheese is really quite amazing for being at a super market. The staff in the cheese department is very knowledgeable about suggestions and they even carry my personal favorite, Idiazabel…a mexican cheese.

The ultimate in cheese dining is when you can dip your veggies, bread and meats in a pot of melted cheese. This can be fun for groups or a romantic dinner for two. I got a findue set for Christmas and can’t wait to try it out and revive the 70’s love fest.

Every Christmas we hit the Cheese Company for several varieties of cheese and pate for our champagne, pre-dinner course. The selections are fabulous and the small shop is quaint and friendly. A great Hilltop location makes it nice for the suburb folks.

If you havn’t been to Marczyk’s, you don’t know what you’re missing. From fantastic cured meats, prepared entrees, fresh mozarella, and delicious specialties, you will easily find this becoming one of your frequent stops.

A lovely French restaurant with one of my favorite appetizers, the buffalo carpacio and cheese plate. Drizled with lavendar honey and apricots, the sweet and salty mixed with the gorgeous textures is really yummy.

4 words: Lobster Macaroni and Cheese. This was my first foray into this now ever popular dish turning up all over Denver, but I still think it’s the best. Creamy cheese sauce, soft noodles and succulent lobster combine to form the most delicious pasta ever.
