In our efforts to cultivate an interest in scuba diving, we took Gavin to the aquarium. To our delight it is one of his favorite places.

Gavin loves looking at the butterflies and orchids in the butterfly pavilion. For bigger kids, there’s a room full of insects and a small aquarium.

Lakeshore has a nice warm kiddie pool (try not to think about how it got that warm). They also have an outdoor pool that toddlers can wade in, with a slide and a spray park. Gavin also likes to play at Kidshore while Mom and Dad work out.

A great playground with slides for toddlers and kids, swings with harnesses for babies, a giant rocket to climb on, and a swimming pool. Right by the Boulder Creek bike path.
