A fusion of sushi and barbeque shouldn’t work, yet something magical happens amid the plates of edamame and onion rings at Guy Fieri’s crazed resturant. In addition to traditional raw fish sushi, Tex Wasabi’s also serves “Gringo Sushi”, featuring things like pulled pork and blackened chicken in tapioca wrappers. It sounds completely insane, but it’s a delicious way to top off a trip to Santa Rosa, especially if you’re traveling with people who don’t like sushi.
