If you don't mind swimming in a non-pool atmosphere there are quite a few Harrisburg area options. Some are a slight drive from the HBG ... but it's the summertiiiiiime. Pick a weekend (or take a sick-y), grab some friends, and go get your lake swim on!

I love, love, love rinky dink summer time only restaurants. Cheeseburgers and ice cream always taste much better if you're sitting outside under a pavilion, no? If you haven't been to Kristy's Whistle Stop, The Red Rabbit, or The Jigger Shop it's time...
