So now you’ve planned a menu of home-cooking. You may be asking “But Hi Liner, won’t all those groceries add up to a big bill too?” It’s possible, but you can change that as well. Instead of sticking to your brand loyalty, get out of the grocery store and into the farmer’s markets. The benefits of the farmer’s markets are two fold:
1. You’ll save money by buying direct from the source.
2. You’re supporting local farms.
3. You’re being environmentally conscious by buying food that hasn’t traveled 1,500 miles to get to your dinner plate.
Look at you! Saving money and the environment at the same time!
