The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is part of a sizable complex featuring more than 4,000 animals from nearly 500 different species, including such endangered creatures as Amur leopards and African elephants. The 45,000 square foot aquarium has more than 40 exhibits including "The Stingray Tunnel" and "Amazon Rainforest". The zoo sits on nearly 80 acres on the south side of Highland Park, a few miles northeast of the downtown area.

Apr - Nov: Adults $12; Seniors (60+) $11; Children (2-13) $10. Nov - Mar: Adults $9; Seniors (60+) and Children (2-13) $8.
