The Colorado Railroad Museum has more than 100 historic railway vehicles, including narrow and standard gauge locomotives and cars. The 15-acre museum is just north of Golden by North Table Mountain. Visitors may see an operating "roundhouse", a device used to turn railroad cars when needing to repair them and several times a year, take a ride on passenger train powered by a steam or diesel locomotive.
