Containing the world's biggest natural bridge, Rainbow Bridge National Monument's namesake bridge spans a width of 275 feet. Considered a religious site for some local tribes, the bridge offers viewing opportunities from a distance but visitors are discouraged from walking right up to the bridge's base. Located just south of Lake Powell, there is no vehicle access to this monument: the only ways to reach it are by boat from the lake or via a hike that may require a permit from the Navajo Nation.
