In 2025, tattooing characters from beloved fictional TV shows remains a trendy and widespread form of self-expression.

For over forty years, Nickelodeon has captivated children in a way few TV channels can match. The sheer volume of original Nickelodeon shows provides endless inspiration for unique tattoo designs.

Nickelodeon, often called Nick, began testing in 1977 and officially launched in 1979. It was the first TV channel dedicated solely to children. It began with “Pinwheel,” targeting preschoolers. Since its launch, Nickelodeon has broadcast a wide range of series and movies, from animated to live-action. While live-action shows like “iCarly,” “All That,” “Drake & Josh,” “Kenan & Kel,” “Big Time Rush,” “The Thundermans,” and “Henry Danger” are popular, Nicktoons (original animated series) are a major source of inspiration for Nickelodeon tattoos. Popular animated characters often tattooed include SpongeBob, Aang, Arnold, Zim, Danny Fenton, Squidward, and Jenny Wakeman. Wear your Nickelodeon-inspired tattoo with pride! Whether minimalist or large, tattoos evoking cherished memories are timeless. If you’re considering getting your favorite Nickelodeon character inked, we’ve compiled some top Nick-inspired cartoon tattoo ideas for any body placement.

You know you're going to give your kid a complex if you call them "The Mean Bean" instead of; sweetiepie, sugar face, bear, etc. My nickname stuck- even when I got nicer. AND my affinity for all things BEAN happens to be tremendous; Coffee beans (my coffee feign), Cocoa beans, Vanilla beans, chickpeas (yes, it's a bean), black beans....and so on. As for the "mean" part, depends on which ex-boyfriend you ask. I think I'm super sugary. And no, I will not be writing any guides about beans. Unless I get a special request.
