The Bulldog is a globally recognized and beloved dog breed.

Many British individuals choose bulldog tattoos to showcase their English roots and national pride, as the breed originated in England. Bulldogs are often viewed as iconic symbols of British culture, representing resilience and determination.

During World War I, the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) adopted the bulldog as a symbol. The term “devil dogs,” used by Germans to describe American soldiers, was embraced by the Marines. They prominently featured the bulldog in recruitment campaigns. A bulldog tattoo is a powerful way for Marines to display their service and commitment. The USMC bulldog is a widely recognized military symbol. Beyond the military, bulldogs symbolize courage, strength, determination, toughness, tenacity, family values, and patience.

Hopefully, this clarifies the meaning behind a bulldog tattoo!

You know you're going to give your kid a complex if you call them "The Mean Bean" instead of; sweetiepie, sugar face, bear, etc. My nickname stuck- even when I got nicer. AND my affinity for all things BEAN happens to be tremendous; Coffee beans (my coffee feign), Cocoa beans, Vanilla beans, chickpeas (yes, it's a bean), black beans....and so on. As for the "mean" part, depends on which ex-boyfriend you ask. I think I'm super sugary. And no, I will not be writing any guides about beans. Unless I get a special request.
