You’d have a hard time finding a smaller place with more people packed inside than the Spotted Cat when a good band is playing. Put on your dancing shoes and stop by on a Monday or Friday night to see the New Orleans Jazz Vipers!

One of my favorite New Orleans bars. I love how the dancers spill out onto the sidewalk due to lack of space inside this tiny place. See acts such as VaVaVoom, Washboard Chaz Blues Trio, New Orleans Jazz Vipers, the Hot Club of New Orleans and more. A favorite hang out of Uncle Lionell Batiste of the Treme Brass Band— a living New Orleans legend!I If you come on a Sunday between 1:30-6:00 there’s free food with drink purchase, but please remember to tip the cook!
