Tooele (pronounced Toowilluh) is a city in Tooele County in the U.S. state of Utah. The population was 22,502 at the 2000 census. Its estimated population in 2004 was 27,903. It is the county seat of Tooele CountyGR6. The city is well known for Tooele Army Depot and a chemical weapons incinerator located nearby, which closed it's doors in late 2003.
