Tillamook (IPA: [ˈtɪ lə mək]) is the county seat of Tillamook County, Oregon. The city is located along the southeast end of Tillamook Bay on the Pacific Ocean. It is named for the Native American Tillamook people, a Coast Salish tribe who lived in this area in the early nineteenth century. The population was 4,352 at the 2000 census.
