Tigard (IPA: [taɪˈ gərd]) is a city in Washington County, Oregon, United States. The population was 41,223 at the 2000 census. According to the 2003 Oregon Blue Book, Tigard is the state's 11th largest city. It is part of the Portland metropolitan area and is south of Beaverton, north of Tualatin.
