Keizer (IPA: [ˈkɑɪ zɚ]) is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. It was named for Thomas Dove and J.B. Keizer, two pioneers who arrived in the wagon train of 1843, and later filed donation land claims. The population was 32,203 at the 2000 census. The town hosts the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes baseball club of the Northwest League. It is also home to the McNary High School Celtics, the lone High School in the City.
