Lindenhurst is a village in Suffolk County, New York, on the southern shore of Long Island in the Town of Babylon. Lindenhurst is just the Second exit into Suffolk County from Nassau County As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 27,820. It is the 3rd largest village in New York State.
