Corrales is a village located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. It is a part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area. The village is divided into different areas, made up of Meadowlark, West Hills, Coyote Hills, Valley and Riverview. Each neighborhood is demarcated by the primary road through the area. With proximity to the Rio Grande river, the village was founded for agricultural purposes. However, over time the village has grown into a more suburban area.
