Ashland is a town in Grafton County, New Hampshire, USA. The population was 1,955 at the 2000 census. Located near the geographical center of the state, Ashland is home to Scribner-Fellows State Forest. Ashland is also the home of Squam Lake, which is where the 1981 movie On Golden Pond was filmed.
