Hailey is a city in Blaine County, Idaho, United States. The population was 6,200 at the 2000 census. It is the current home of retired tennis player Mats Wilander. It is also the birthplace of world-famous poet Ezra Pound. The city is the county seat of Blaine CountyGR6. From 1882 to 1895 Hailey was the county seat of now-defunct Alturas County.
