I never really understand the "perk" of "any meal you want" given to death row inmates. I mean, can you really enjoy it? That's a little heavy for our purposes here. If you had to choose, what would be your last meal on earth? (Is that the same as asking, what's your favorite meal? Discuss). It be as many courses as you want (i.e., you can't decide between steak, chicken fingers, and fried shrimp) and it can be a specific menu item or store-bought food. Anything!
Pulled Pork
Those two words make my mouth water. Add some sweet potato fries and creamy mac & cheese, and I’m good to go, and that just may be my favorite meal.
For dessert, definitely chocolate bread pudding. When I scan any dessert menu, it’s for bread pudding in any form. I love it more than ice cream, pie, cupcakes and cookies. LOVE. Blue Ribbon’s is damn good; too bad it’s $14. Repeat of my birthday dinner here two years ago where I didn’t have to pay, pretty pretty please?
Oh how quickly the heart becomes disloyal. Did I say pulled pork was my favorite? The lobster roll begs to differ. Lightly coated in mayo and placed on a simple bun, it’s hard to believe lobster used to be the poor man’s grub.
Seriously. Your last meal? That’s like one of the most important life decisions someone would have to make! So, I’m going to take the easy way out and say that I want a 5 course dinner from The French Laundry in Napa, CA.
I will write about and gush over and worship this pizza until something comes along to prove me wrong. This is a must-try for anyone who lives in Massachusetts, and I highly recommend it for a first meal, last meal, or meal, period.
