Lumber
In addition to the woodworking supply stores above, the following lumberyards are available. Prices for hardwood lumber are generally better. In addition, it is possible to find “rough” lumber at these locations.
Both Woodcraft and Rockler offer classes on various aspects of woodworking. In addition, Red Rocks Community college offers more formal classes on woodworking.
Once a year, The Woodworking Shows comes to Denver. Held at the Denver Merchandise Mart, this is an opportunity for vendors to show off their products, allowing visitors to see and touch products that may not have local suppliers. In addition, there are many classes and demonstrations.
