Elm the

5001 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80220

A Parkhill Neighborhood classic, The Elm sports Italian cinema tin ceiling, art deco wooden detailing, sports bar TVs that run while the Rock music jams, and large assortment of wines and beers flow. Jazz Nights, too (call for schedule).

You can reach, from here, either Senior Rita’s Mexican restaurant’s WiFi (2 doors down), or Geez Louise’s WiFi (across Colfax). Score!

Oh, $3.50 for $7 Martinis during happy hour.

Max's Bar

1052 S Gaylord St Denver, CO 80209

Upscale grilling restaurant; seafood & steaks. My friend is 75% sure they have free Wi-Fi.

Thin Man Bar

2015 East 17th Ave Denver, CO

GREAT martinis, and they’re expanding their drink menu weekly (martini-tasting evenings scheduled throughout 2007; “an evening of chocolate martinis” among them). HEart of Bonnie Brae & 2 great restaurants nearby — a spot next door (forgot the name) & Wash Park Grille ~3 blocks away. Cheers.

Vegetarian restaurant & bar. Pizza was among my favorite (I’m not a vegetarian), and the thin crusts were like cracker… yum.

Leela’s European Cafe has free wi-fi, plenty of seating (great bar), and lots of outlets; plus, it’s techy friendly. Lime on 6th/Downing has wi-fi and Superman-strong margaritas; the password is the phone number (not sure if that’s advertised or not).
