Why Did You Move to Boston?
You didn't just get beamed down from space. Right? So, you must have your reasons why you moved to Boston. The fabulous history? The amazing winter weather? Why are you here?
I went to college in the middle of nowhere
I loved my lovely rural university in the middle of New Hampshire. It was so pretty and peaceful. But after 4 years of squirrels, trees, and farms, I was ready for some city surroundings. So, I packed up my bags and moved to Boston. And haven’t really looked back.
All cities are not created equal
Yes, I wanted a city, but not a crazy, “it takes 12 hours to get anywhere and you’re lucky if you can make it a day without wanting to murder someone” city. I have always loved New York City, but it’s a little too crazy for me. There’s nothing worse than trying to walk what should be a quick 10 minute walk and have it take an hour because there are way too many people on the streets.
Boston’s a city, but there’s also room to walk on the sidewalks. Unless there’s a Red Sox game and you’re in Kenmore Square.

I love cupcakes, the color pink, writing, technology, blogging, trying to learn Japanese, and walking from one end of Boston to the other.
I make it my goal to try one new thing in Boston every week, but sometimes I find things I love so much, I just can't tear myself away from them.
