This eyebrow palace may tout its celebrity horn (they’ve tweezed and plucked many a celeb), but they’re surprisingly sweet and down-to-earth. And don’t let the name fool you: It’s not super cheap (brow waxing runs around $40), but it won’t break the bank.

3208 W MAGNOLIA BLVD BURBANK, CA 91505

This cute spot has been fixing over-tweezed brows for the past several years to much acclaim. The prices are not as cheap as you would expect for a Valley salon, but it’s nothing compared to some of the outrageous prices you’d find in say, Beverly Hills.

This Burbank salon is a tad cheaper than its neighbor Wax Poetic, which has caused many ladies to make the switch (plus, many former WP staff members now work at Flirt). The reasonably priced services and the sweet staff make this place a local favorite.

10800 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064

This chain of Indian beauty salons specializes in threading (where hair ir removed using floss-like threads instead of tweezing or wax). And just because it’s in a mall (the Westside Pavillion) don’t think you won’t have to wait: if you come in without an appointment you’ll most likely have to wait 20 minutes or more.

Vinita’s looks like a hole in the wall, but be forewarned that this spot has the quiet the fan base (read: since they don’t take appointments for eyebrow threading you’ll most likely have to wait). But these ladies are a speedy bunch once they get going, so you’ll be expertly groomed in no time.

This minimall salon has quite the reputation (Jill is the resident brow master). Unfortunately however, this means you might have to wait a while before you can be squeezed in for an appointment. But if you can make do with bushy brows for a couple weeks, it’s worth it.

This Melrose salon lives up to its name: Straight and to the point. These ladies do not dilly dally, but don’t think that their quick fingers mean that they’re careless—they do a professional and thorough job when it comes to getting rid of unwanted hairs.
