The human nose is a funny thing. Some people love the smell of gasoline, while others can't stand vanilla. Personally, I can't walk down the baby aisle in Target without wanting to hurl-- no offense to babies, of course. What smells make YOUR stomach turn?
California on Fire
As most of you know, Southern California has a propensity for catching on fire. And when that happens the smell in the air is truly AWFUL. There’s nothing worse than the smell of burning brush— it makes my head hurt just thinking about it.
Patchouli
For some reason I think Patchouli smells terrible. I encountered this smell (and my hate of it) when I lived in Berkeley. Damn hippies…
Freshly Cut Grass
The smell of freshly cut grass in the morning (or at any time for that matter), makes me feel seriously ill. Looks like I’ll never be a landscape artist…
