My family is planning a reunion in Punta Gorda, FL this summer. I'm creating a guide with things for us to do while we are on our trip.

This nature preserve offers wildlife and Native American exhibits at its visitor center, environmental education tours, and over four miles of nature trails through mangrove swamps, pine flatwoods and salt marshes. The refuge also offers an excellent chance to see native wildlife, including alligators, birds and butterflies. It is located across the street from Seminole Lakes Country Club.
Fishermans Village

Lots of shops and restaurants. Fishermans village is a nice place to walk around.

Great location, it is right at the end of the pier looking out over the harbor. The food is getting better and the drinks are cold.

Orlando is about 2 hours away so we spent two nights there so we could take the kids to Disney World. It was lots of fun and very easy to get to from Punta Gorda.

The kids loved the nemo ride and we loved walking through the different countries drinking beer.

Rental Property in Punta Gorda Isles
This is the rental property we will be staying at in Punta Gorda, Florida.
This is really great I totally recommend it if you are staying in Punta Gorda.
Starbucks Coffee Company

They have a good happy hour and tasty wings. The outdoor patio is nice but it looks out a busy street.
