Wedding Reception Entertainment - Why Get A Band?

Your wedding ... one of the most incredible days of your life, and perhaps the biggest celebration you will ever host! Your wedding reception is the longest part of your whole party and is often under-entertained and overlooked. If you can afford it, nothing compares to the energy of a live dance band, fully entertaining your guests. The visual aspect of a really good band adds another exciting dimension to your wedding celebration. Be sure to check band videos, make sure they are "live performances" of the band, not lip synced (in case the band doesn't really sound that good in person) or better yet, see your band in person before you hire them. A band will cost more than a DJ, but they can do anything the DJ can do and put on a show, concert style, giving your guests something to look at as well as great entertainment songs to dance to. The food, the setting and ambience will most certainly make an impression on your guests, but the entertainment will leave the most lasting impression, if they had fun and they didn't want it to end.
