What your registration gets you!

1. Kickball League of Pennsylvania t-shirt. (Kiwi Green is pretty much #1).
2. 7 weekly games of Kickball, plus play-offs (if eligible and oh we are sooo not).
3. Drink specials after the games at the Brick Haus & West Shore Hardware Bar.
4. Make new friends and keep the oh-old…one is silver and the other gold…er…well…singing girl scout songs isn’t on the list but, hey, do it if you want to!

2 leagues, 2 fields, 2 bars....

West Shore league plays behind the West Shore Hardware bar.

• Pre-game your game inside the bar.
• Support the keg tent.
• Laugh hysterically when a streaker runs the field not once but twice.
• Listen to the person playing the bagpipes. Bagpipes? wtf? 
• Head inside after your game, don’t pay a cover, order a quesadilla!

East Shore League plays on City Island.  Can’t lie to you…I don’t really know the deal over there so I will just guess.

• Pre-game your game?
• I don’t think there is a keg tent, streaker, bag pipe player..if so I would be surprised.
• Head to the Brick after your game?

Field

The official description:

The kickball diamond is a square with equal sides of 60 feet. 

The We Kick Balls description:

The kickball diamond is where we stand when we are not waiting to kick.  (And, sometimes, a place to gaze longingly at the beer sitting on the sideline).

Team

The official description:

Teams consist of a maximum of 10 players on the field and a minimum of 8 players with at least 4 women on the field at all times. If you don’t have enough women you must play short and will get an automatic out when that position is reached in the batting order.  If you play with fewer than 10 players but have at least 4 women you do not have to take an automatic out. One of the players must be catcher. There is no maximum to the number of players on your team roster.

The We Kick Balls description:

Team consists of a bunch of crazies who don’t bunt kick, like to have fun, and laugh at all the injuries that keep happening.  Who knew Kickball could be so tough?

Games

The official description:

Games will last for 7 innings, with the game being official after 5 innings (4 ½ if the home team leads). When game time has reached fifty minutes, one more full inning will be played. (the game will be shortened if necessary).

The We Kick Balls description:

Games will last for innings?  Oh. Right.  Sometimes we’re on the field.  Sometimes we’re kicking.  When game time has reached a time of somewhere around 1 beer from the keg tent it will be time to start thinking about getting another beer.
