Yeah, on the other hand if your girlfriend actually likes Twilight you can estimate that her IQ is definetely under 100.

And I’ve thrown up in my mouth a little reading this. I just…don’t get it. I’ve read all the stuff people write about Twilight and listened to all my friends gush about it and still…nothing. I read an excerpt and the horribly constructed flowery sentences gave me a headache. I might read these…if someone pays me.

I think if you have that strong of a reaction, even payment couldn’t make you get through an entire book. If you’re looking for a fun vampire series though, True Blood is 10 x’s better.

The show is based off of the Sookie Stackhouse series. I just finished the first book and season one of True Blood. There are some differences, but much more adult. No sparkling boyfriends. No teenage drama.

Well, after only ever hearing about this movie on your blog (live in Ireland and its not out here for another week) I got the book, read it in two days… Im totally obsessed. Just finished Eclipse and about to start Breaking Dawn :) Figured I was too old for these books as they are in the teenage section (Im 28) but seriously Im hooked, this hasn’t happened me with a book in ages, really loving it!

You make a COMPELLING argument. But since I’m single, I’m already @ B&N buying my copy with a pit stop @ the cineplex to follow…will this have the reverse affect? Help me get a boyfriend? Never get a boyfriend? Meet a ridiculously good-looking vampire? Who am I kidding? Must read/see Twilight. Nowz.

I have seen some extremely messed-up looking pictures of that actor, though – ones that could be used as a sort of repellent to prevent women from falling for him. Garlic and a cross, if you will, against vampire lust.

My boyfriend doesn’t quite grasp the level of excitement that I have for this movie…regardless of being 31!
