Just take a stroll around your neighborhood and show the world that you are a mean, green earth savin’ machine… AND do it without spending ANY money!

The Earth Is Crowded

And the word was spoken, “Go and MULTIPLY!”

We followed that rule alright and look at us now! Humans, animals, buildings, and concrete all piled on top of one another on this glorious planet! YAY!

Actually, anyone living in a crowded city knows how annoying it can be to walk down the street, stare at another head in front of you, and feel as if you’re suffocating!

That’s why we must do our best to CONSERVE, CONSERVE, CONSERVE and accept that we mustn’t be selfish and ruin the place we live! (Ok, that’s my schpeal.)

Recycle Crap

Recycling is common knowledge these days. You use it, recycle it, and it turns into something else. YAY! So do it! It’s getting easier and easier these days too.

Save Energy

For your office at the work place or at home, try using a low energy, earth lovin’, low ink printer. I found a few at Staples. and for not a bad price either!

Unplug That Unused Charger

If you aren’t using it, unplug it! Did you know that having your cell phone charger plugged in, uses up energy just sitting there? Wah? Yep. It’s true!

So UNPLUG IT!

Leave It On or Turn It Off!

It really doesn’t matter if you leave the lights on. No, you don’t want them on for 12 hours straight. However, more energy is used up when you constantly flick that switch on and off, on and off, on and off….etc…

Wasted Energy

Look at all that wasted energy we can see from space. I bet you could fly around the earth and not even need a flashlight…err headlights, or whatever they use up there on those space shuttles.

Use The Cloth

At home, try using a cloth towel for spills, drying, and as napkins, instead of the paper towel. You will end up saving trees, and have a sweet napkin collection!

Hitch A Ride With Your Buddies

Have friends that work or live nearby? Hitch a ride and limit the amount of cars on the roads. It can be fun! Ya know, put on some Led Zeplin and rock it out on the way to work.

Don't Drive These!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…

Spare me and the rest of humanity! These gas guzzlers never make it off road. So why have one? Wasted gas and energy are all these nasty SUV’s are good for anyway.

Don't Spray These!

The stratosphere will disappear one day if you spray these, and the chemicals will seep into the ground and kill us all!!!! DON’T, JUST DON’T!

Use a pump bottle instead.

Bike It EVERYWHERE!

You can bike to work, from work, to the store, from the store, to your bud’s bachelor party, from the party… ANYWHERE really. Just bike it!

Save The Water

Turn off the faucet when you’re not using the water and be conscious of how much you are using. Try watering your plants with any left over water you may not use! Yay plants!

Love Your Mother, She Loves You!

Mother Earth is very proud of herself. She’s had a pretty good figure and we’re tearing her up! How would you like it if someone came in and destroyed your organs, your bones, and decided to dig around in there?

I would be pissed! Let’s not piss her off, OK?

Is It Realy Organic?

Most companies slap on the word ORGANIC to make you think it’s all natural. Nope, not in most cases. Make sure that it is USDA approved before you buy into the whole “organic” thing.

Make sure it’s USDA.

Earth Friendly Products

Would you want someone pouring toxic cleaners and fumes down your pipes? NO! So don’t do it to your Mother Earth. Use natural, earth friendly cleaning products. I promise, it will be much healthier for YOU and the Earth.

Shower Instead

Showers use up less water than if you were to take a bath. I know, I know… bubble baths are lovely. Instead of taking a bath every night, try once a month.

Your scalp will love it!

Who doesn’t love a cup of coffee in the morning? Instead of being wasteful with the Starbucks cups, just bring your own Eco Friendly travel mug.. You will save the earth and look even cooler drinking coffee!

Just think of all the cute people that will be walking around on the earth after you are gone! All of those people with your bloodline, carrying your genes, your name, and looking back at the history of this Earth.

You know all that recycling you’ve been doing? Well now you can wear it! Just think, your children and your children’s children will want to wear a vintage plastic bag one day!

The back side of a piece of paper rarely gets used. Once you’ve used one side, instead of throwing it away…make it scrap paper or print on the other side! Just tell people to ignore that shopping list you wrote on the front.
