Well, except for me. I always manage to get audited. I guess I do some suspicious bagging? I mean, seriously Giant, I’m not stealing. In FACT, before I got the hang of the scanning/bagging thing I scanned items and attempted to put them BACK on the shelves.
For awhile I thought that I was getting audited because I was using my <insert competitor grocery store chain name here> reusable bags. But, I asked and that’s not the reason. (Really. I asked. And even though the auditor was laughing at me she said No!)
Regardless, $2.00 off your total for the trouble of the audit isn’t a bad reward…er…bonus…er…coupon without having to remember to bring your coupons. :) Maybe being a suspicious bagger isn’t so bad?

#2. lunch meats...cheeses...cha cha cha...
I always make an express order. It sure beats standing aimlessly, paper number in hand, staring at the various forms of processed meats and cheeses.
You’re able to choose whatever you want from the deli counter at a kiosk right inside the front doors (or various spots around the store). While the deli counter people pack it all up you can be shopping away. When it’s ready they announce the order number over the loudspeaker. Stop back by the counter to pick it up and you’re done!

#3. It's NAT-chur-al!
Whether you’re interested in organic items for their healthy benefits or are just trying to be hip to the new hot trend Giant Foods has your back.

#4 Lil bitty baby shopping carts!
As a child I would recklessly tear through the aisles, hit my mom continually in the ankles, and have to give up pushing once the cart(or buggy for those of you in the South) was 50% full.
So thank you Giant Foods.
The smaller and streamlined baby cart (aka two-tiered basket on wheels) is perfect for quick trips. I personally adore the budget reducing factor. Beware though, it might be an obvious beacon for singles on the prowl. Don’t ‘they’ say one of the best places to meet someone is in the grocery store?
...and no, it doesn’t involve bean-o. The locations listed below are the gas-having Giant Food Stores.
Sweet bonus(card)? Using your bonus card allows you to rack up (or, in my case, slowly earn) points towards ‘cents off your gallon’. It’s 10 cents off every gallon for every 100 points earned within a specifc time frame.
Thank you Giant Foods…for offering extra special parking for those that are on the larger side. No wonder the Jolly Green Giant votes for Giant Foods as his favorite grocery store!
Honorable Mention: Giant Foods has a pretty kick ask website
Log on. It will make you feel good, make you feel good…
Make your list, check it twice, group items by aisle.
View past purchases. Stalk-y? Yes, but helpful just the same.
