Let's face it: frozen yogurt is the jack of all trades when it comes to dessert. And why not? After all, it's guilt-free, tastes oh so delicious and (gasp!) has been proven to be good for you. Here in the City of Angels, we are still going gaga over our froyo, and show no signs of stopping anytime soon. So what are you waiting for? Grab a spoon and dig in!

From Wikipedia...

Frozen yogurt (also frozen yoghurtfrogurtfroyo) is a frozen dessert made from or containing yogurt or other dairy products. Frozen yogurt is similar to ice cream, but lower in fat (due to the use of milk instead of cream) and slightly more tart.

It is hard to believe that this yogurt is only 17 calories per ounce, but alas it’s true, and we love them for it. Try a small (yet not so small) cake batter, chocolate malt and vanilla custard and you’ll find yourself licking the cup clean. Creamy and satisfying, this yogurt is nothing short of delicious…and healthy. The cozy red and white interior makes you feel like a kid again, and yes, there are actual plastic golden spoons that accompany the yogurt. Way to practice what you preach.

The eccentric name of the store is enough to pique anyone’s interest, but after tasting their dozens of flavors, you’ll be hooked. Not only do they cater to the tart-loving crowd with their white cloud (which now also comes in a light version), they also have a plethora of flavors, like white chocolate macadamia and mocha. They serve generous amounts—always a plus—and any Angeleno is sure to love how the nutrition facts are posted on the wall. Nothing like knowing you’re indulging without really indulging!

As far as fro-yo haunts go, this just might take the cake. It has almost every flavor you could possibly imagine, and best of all, you do it yourself, from choosing the size to what and how much topping you want. Go to town and get the cheesecake and taro, then live dangerously and add a little bit of the mango tart. To finish, top off your concoction with some cheesecake bites and fresh strawberries, and you’re good to go. Of course, this is merely suggestion. For only $.30 an ounce, what more could a yogurt lover want?

First of all, the name of this place alone is adorable and clever, and while the silver screen legend won’t be found getting his fro-yo fix here, tons of other people do. You must take advantage of what this place is known for: candy mix-ins. Loyal customers love ordering the good stuff, like vanilla with chocolate chips, brownie and a bit of hot fudge. Yum.

I LOVE Froyo. We just got a few new places here in Boston, which I’m super psyched about. And just so you know, if you click “Business/Attraction” and search for the business, you can add the addresses and everything to your guide. It’s pretty cool! Fabulous first guide :)
