So You Think You Can Dance?! The ULTIMATE GUIDE
Dance is a world I know WELL. Very well. My Mother has owned a successful studio since I was five years old and since has been a crazy dancer producing machine. Her students have done everything from dancing with Justin Timberlake on his world tour, to dancing with Celine Dion. They've appeared in commercials, traveled the world, danced on the stages of SNL and The Tonight Show and NOW, are appearing on So You Think You Can Dance!! This season one of my mom's students Kayla Radomski is in the top 20, and let me just say....she started with the samba, and that's just the beginning. Being that this is my world, I thought i'd give you a little bit more insight on previous and current contestants many of which are good friends of mine. Don't forget to tune in on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS and VOTE!
My Personal Pick for this Season! KAYLA RADOMSKI!
The dance studio that Kayla grew up in…..(Michelle also happens to be my Mother!) Dancers who have grown up in this studio have; toured with Justin Timberlake, danced with Ciara, Celine Dion, Bette Midler, Neyo, Aaron Carter, Cindy Lauper, Ben Harper, etc. They’ve appeared in Dr. Pepper Commercials, feature films, stage performances, companies and cruise ships.

Performing Contemporary
Kherington Payne (L) and Twitch Boss® perform a Contemporary routine choreographed by Mia Michaels on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.
The Front Runner for HIP HOP: Philip Chbeeb
Chbeeb has had no formal dance training, but began dancing when he was 15 years old. At age 16, he founded the Marvelous Motion Studio in Houston. He is currently an engineering physics major at Loyola Marymount University.
This is fun, hysterical, and ridiculous all at the same time. Just the tip of the iceberg of what they can do. Love it.
He is the son of “King of Swing” Buddy Schwimmer, who is famed in the West Coast Swing world. His mother, Laurie Kauffman, and sister, Lacey Schwimmer, are also West Coast Swing dancers. Benji is also related to actor David Schwimmer.
Benji is co-owner of this studio and still ballroom dances his way through the dance world. He has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

This is it! Who’s gonna be the winner?
She isn’t even a ballroom dancer….yeah. AMAZING.
....my second choice- Ashley Valerio
The dance studio where Ashley grew up!! Dance Connection is an icredible dance studio and Ashley certainly isn’t the only one who has emerged an amazing dancer from this studio.

Remember Travis Wall??
Travis was undoubtedly one of the most memorable contestants in So You Think You Can Dance history. His versatility from contemporary to hip hip, to ballroom were absolutely insane. Though he was the runner-up he’s still wildly successful teaching on the convention NUVO and around the country.
Travis’ Momma owns a studio too! Travis wasn’t the only contestant on the show from Denise’ studio her adopted son Danny Tidwell and student Jamie Goodwin also made a lasting impression in the top 20.

Tabitha and Napoleon, the duo of choreographers on So You Think You Can Dance have an AMAZING way of creating emotional, storyline performances. It could help that they’re a married couple and create everything together….like this performance about. Incredible.
Johnson started formal dance training at the age of 16 at Dance Impressions in Bountiful, Utah, under the direction of mother-daughter team Kandee Allen and Vivian Colobella. Before training in dance, Johnson had a previous background in gymnastics.
