My Jigger Faves

While I have SEEN all sorts of fancy Jigger Shop sundaes and desserts I actually prefer to get a simple dish of chocolate ice cream.  It comes with a hard pretzel for a salty sweet taste!

Another neato feature is the FREE spring water fountain.  You pour water into a paper water cooler cone water holder thing-a-ma-jig (Come on, you know what I mean!) and then grab a plastic water cooler cone water holder thing-a-ma-jig holder.  (Because, hey, it’s not like those paper water cooler cone water holder thing-a-ma-jigs stand up on their own!)

Specialties from the Jigger shop fountain

1. Jigger “Our Specialty”=Two and a half scoops of vanilla ice cream made with your choice of chocolate or butterscotch topping, whipped marshmallow and our secret touch… Jigger Nuts!
2. Baked Alaska=Two scoops of ice cream (your choice), topped with chocolate sauce and toasted meringue.  Served flaming with a fresh strawberry.
3. Peach Melba=Two scoops of vanilla ice cream, peaches and raspberry sauce with a dollop of whipped cream.
4. Banana’s Foster=Fresh bananas sauteed in brandied caramel butter, served flaming over rich vanilla ice cream.
5. Hot Butterscotch Cashew “A Jigger Shop Original”=2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, topped with hot butterscotch, crushed salted cashews, whipped cream, whole cashews, and a cherry.
6. Banana Fudge Royal=Two scoops of vanilla ice cream, quartered bananas, and hot fudge.  Topped with whipped cream, a royal crown of almonds and a cherry.

My Red Rabbit Faves

GET EXTRA BUNNY DUST.  Honestly, I don’t know what the magical dust consists of but I always want more more more!  My best guess is salt, pepper, and garlic salt PLUS other stuff.

It’s also awesomely fun to be served while sitting in your car.  They even use those trays that hook over your car window. 

Here’s a tip:  If you need anything or you’re done eating and want them to come get the tray turn on your headlights.  I didn’t know that at first and couldn’t figure out how to get the attention of the waitresses.

My Kristy's Whistle Stop Faves

Pretzel Cones.  Yes. Ice cream cones made out of a pretzel.  Apparently they’re not a new invention, just new to me.  However, they are super delicious.

By far, Kristy’s has the most variety in their menu.  Thankfully they don’t offer car side service because a burger topped with pork BBQ, jalapeno peppers and an onion ring is a eat in your car disaster waiting to happen.

Oh. Yeah.  And that burger combo is just one of MANY choices!
