First potato head to climb Mt. Everest!

At first glance I thought Spud was merely the 'Mr. Potato Head' that I knew from childhood. After hanging out with 'Spud' over the weekend, I found out that he was a far cry from 'Mr. Potato Head' although he could very well be a distant relative of his. I was introduced to him on a Friday so after him and I shared a few beers at 'free beer Friday we knew we'd become friends. I just happened to be doing a quick weekend trip to Mt. Everest so I asked him to join. Needless to say he ended up being the best climber out of the three of us that went. He was relentless and never for a second seemed tired. What an amazing spud! Turns out that he now joins the elite company of "Sir Edward Hillary" who was the first human to climb Everest. Although he didn't get the same attention in the news as did Hillary, he is still the first Spud to conquer Everest.
