In the spirit of Halloween, I want to know what's the spookiest, weirdest thing that's happened to you. It can be a UFO sighting, an interaction with the afterworld, or a laundromat machine that seems to eat all of your black socks.
The Ilama Farmer Incident
Sometimes I think I have ESP. There are times when I just know what someone is going to say, or I know something’s going to turn out badly. Maybe the people are know are predictable, but ESP would also explain my uncanny ability to dominate Outburst games. But this one time my dad was telling me about a patient he had, and he said you’ll never guess what he does for a living. And I asked if he was ilama farmer and my dad said, how did you know?
This All Seems Oddly Familiar
I don’t know why, but I seem to get deja vu a lot. It’s weird, sometimes I’ll look at something at a certain angle, and the someone will say something, and the whole situation seems oddly familiar. Granted, it may just bear semblance to a memory or a dream you’ve had, but who knows.
The Headless Squirrel
This is a story based on actual events. Two years ago, I found a decapitated squirrel on my doorstep. But what made it a little creepy was the fact that it was Yom Kippur, a Jewish holiday where everyone fasts and atones for their sins. Somehow it seemed like a bad omen to have a headless squirrel on my porch on such a ominous day. Or then again, maybe it was just coyotes.
