Sorting and Packing Your Bedroom in Simple Ways

When moving into another place, we usually sort first the most important things and the easiest stuffs to pack. But before you proceed to packing, you should do some sorting first so it would be easy for you to pack them little by little, especially the bedroom. Most of our valuable belongings are kept in the bedroom. This is the reason why we need to be systematic before we packed them to move in another place. Sorting them from least up to the most important should be considered carefully. Making a checklist can help you to sort out things easily. Start from the closet where most of your stuffs are stored. If there’s lot of things inside and some of them are with less importance already like old clothes, bags, and shoes; how about selling them in a garage sale, the money you will gain here can be added in the payment for the moving company you hired. Or if you want to help others in need of those stuffs such as victims of calamities then you can just donate them in a charitable institution like the Red Cross. Removing unwanted stuffs that are not anymore needed can make your move much lighter. After the closet, then proceed to the drawers, dressers, and other storage like bookshelves inside the bedroom. Do the same as you did in the closet then separate them accordingly particularly those things that are fragile or easy to break. For jewelries and other personal belongings it should stay with you at all times by keeping them in your hand-carry bags. Now that you have sort out all the stuffs, packing them will be your next concern. In packing, prepare all the packing materials you need like cardboard boxes or cartons, packing tapes, bubble wraps, shrink wraps, plastic bags, ropes, and markers for labeling. You can also prepare wardrobe boxes for the clothes in case it is needed. For some cases, wardrobe boxes are useful for packing clothes to avoid being wrinkled.
