As a three block oais in the middle of Downtown Denver, Skyline Park is home to a variety of special events for all ages, seasonal activities, food vendors and a Downtown Denver Information Center.
This park is located in the heart of downtown denver, and stretches for 3 blocks along Arapahoe Street from 15th to 18th.
As a kid I remember taking the bus dowtown to play in the large fountains and rocks that were in the park. The fountains are still there and the park has been well maintained. If you are looking for a peaceful spot in dowtown – this is well worth a visit.
Summer Concerts
During the Summer from Noon to 1:15 pm there are free concerts happening in Skyline Park.

Completed in 1982, the 16th Street Mall is a shopping, dining and transportation hub covering more than a mile. The mall can be accessed by a variety of transportation including walking, free shuttle bus, bike taxis and horse drawn carriages but cars are only allowed on the side streets and not on 16th Street. Situated between Tremont and Glenarm Streets along the mall, the Denver Pavilions is a large complex that includes restaurants, stores, bowling and a movie theater. With its free WiFi and plenty of benches for people watching, the mall brings out a diverse population from students to business people to street performers. The mall is a few blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and Coors Field in downtown Denver.
