Shoshanna's a SCAM!

BEWARE! This Business is a SCAM! Shoshanna's Matches claim that they will hand pick 8 matches for you based on extensive interviews, but once you sign the contract they refuse to provide the services they promise. During the two hour interview to be accepted into the program, a representative complimented me profusely and assured me that within a few weeks she could easily have several matches for me. I signed the contract there and then. Big mistake! Several weeks later, I was informed that my first match would call within 7 days. He did not call. I called Shoshanna's Matches twice, and was met with a lot of rudeness and hostility. Finally, a "match" called me. He stated that he had been hounded into calling me and that he was not interested in dating me due to my location. When I contacted Shoshanna's Matches to express my dissatisfaction, Shoshanna herself verbally attacked me, stating that my disagreeable personality was the cause of the problem. She then aggressively asserted that I cannot cancel the contract, even though they were not rendering the services promised. They also stated that they absolutely would not refund my money. Both these actions violate the NYC law which governs such business transactions. I found these references on the NYC website, sections 5-31 and 5-34. This business lures in women, playing on their vulnerabilities to get their money. Then they try to shame and embarrass their clients into submission, so that they will not take action against them. It is absolutely despicable.
